It doesn’t seem long ago that I was thinking, well, it’s 3 months away-that’s ages!
Travel was booked a while back; accommodation has mostly been finalised. All we need to do now is finalise as much work as possible before
delegating anything else as we’ll be away for 5 weeks!
The benefits of the Internet business lifestyle :-)

A trip to England to visit family and friends Then a flight to Tampa, Florida, where we’ll chill for 2 weeks in Naples.
Then who knows? Maybe Miami or the Florida Keys.
9-16th January, we’ll be joining 300-400 other Internet marketers on a brand new cruise ship for a week’s cruise to Mexico, Belize and Honduras. Should be amazing!

Watch this space for news of new friends, great JVs (joint ventures), and fab food – oh yes, and probably a return to the diet for a few weeks!

We’ve visited lots of nice cities, while doing some work there often, come up with some potentially exciting business ideas, re-established some hugely important work-life balance and even booked a ‘working’ cruise for marketers departing from Florida in January 2010!

Business trips have taken us to:

  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Dublin and Shannon in Ireland
  • Paris, France
  • London, Swindon and Oxford, England
  • Florence, Italy

and that’s just the last few months!

Paris was fun as we commenced a restaurant review business while there www.restaurantsreviewedbyyou.com (site will be updated soon) plus a site for hotel reviews (www.hotelsreviewedbyyou.com), which is also at very early stages ;-)   Personalised content to come.
Our thinking is that we will review hotels and restaurants, but also allow others the opportunity to create their own reviews, both on the places we’ve visited and possibly others.
Should be fun! Yes-we love our food and wine …..

While in Paris recently, we took a tourist dinner and cruise along the Seine and do you know what, it was delightful! The food was much better than some sites (like Trip Advisor) led us to believe. (See our restaurant review site for more details.) Paris looked particularly lovely lit up at night and from a different perspective than one usually sees.
